A nursery school has been identified as one of the most effective ways to provide for the basic needs of this community especially in this time of post-conflict reconstruction.
The school provides the children with a strong foundation for personal development and growth. The school also provides the parents and guardians of the children with much needed quality childcare as they work towards securing a basic economic livelihood for their families.
We have consulted and involved the local community in our project design and execution. Our development strategy has been encouraged and recommended by the District Education Office, local government leadership as well as the surrounding community in Acoyo.
We have a 1:40 teacher/student ratio to provide a nurturing environment that is conducive to early childhood development. Our school offers our children a daily nutritious late morning meal.
If you fund this option, we will offer your naming rights of the school for the year that you fund it. You will listed as our primary donor on our website and your logo will be added to all our stationary. You will also receive first option to fund is for the year 2010-2011.

School fees (income)
We charge a small amount of school fees which was agreed with the community at 25,000=/ UGX per term. The total income in school fees for 80 children per annum is $2740 which will be used for small income-generating projects on the school grounds.
